Delivering the Mission
Overview: Despite 10 years of challenges and mismanagement of funds, strategic intervention and adaptability led to the successful launch of an 800 square foot grocery store, all within 1 year.
Challenges: Ambitious goals and financial mismanagement threatened the cooperative's viability, causing exhaustion within the team and the client-owners.
My Intervention: Taking organizational control, a new comprehensive plan and strategy refocused efforts on grassroots initiatives that leveraged the skills of those present. Launching a pop-up store proved the concept, built skills, and served as a fundraising headquarters.
Results: Within a year, the grand opening of the grocery store marked a significant turnaround. Profitability endured over five years, demonstrating the cooperative's resilience.
Key Achievements: Successful launch of a pop-up store, grand opening and profitability of an 800 square foot grocery store, and sustained success in ending a federally designated food desert.
Lessons Learned: Adaptability, realistic goal-setting, and a worthy mission are crucial in navigating challenges and achieving success.

Business Model Redesign
One of my most impactful projects involved helping a client struggling with an under-performing business model. In just one meeting, we identified the key issues and developed a new strategy to better meet market demands. She was able to implement the changes quickly and, as a result, filled her calendar with clients almost immediately. This example highlights how a focused, hands-on approach can lead to swift and meaningful outcomes.

Quick Fix, Big Results
A couple reached out to me for help with their under-performing Airbnb listing. Their beautiful apartment, overlooking the sea in the Dominican Republic, wasn’t attracting the number of clients they anticipated. After taking the reins and leveraging my experience, I quickly redesigned their listing page to better communicate the unique selling points of the property.
However, the real breakthrough came when I analyzed their pricing and booking settings. I discovered that their listing was set to only allow bookings for the upcoming week—a simple but costly mistake. With another set of analytical eyes, this was quickly corrected, and the listing was immediately more attractive to a wider audience. This quick fix led to an increase in bookings and a newfound confidence in their listing.
